The many uses of ground round

Now that the economy sucks even more than the W Days, I have had to find ways to cut back. The solution (well, at least a helper...) I found? 3 lbs. of sweet, sweet, ground round (ground beef). Buy it in a large tube and use what you need. Last week, I got the following dinners for 2 out of it:

- Mexican Pizza

- Small Meatloaves

- Taco Salad

Check that out! 3 meals out of 3 lbs of ground round...and the ground round was only $3.79 at my local market. If you hate ground round, too bad! This is a recession we're in, people! We all have to make sacrifices! Ha ha, just kidding. Try it, though. Black pepper (which is generally inexpensive) can hide a lot of that beefy flavor.

And for the vegetarians...well...I'm sorry.
